FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

HAITIHOUSE.ORG Launches Haitian Village Rebuilding Effort with Portable Disaster Shelters and Support Facilities

January 19, 2010 - (Thomasville, GA USA) Long-time FEMA emergency housing contractor, Harbor Homes LLC, makers of the Harbor Homes houseboats, (http://www.harborhouseboats.com/disastershelter.html), announces the formation of HaitiHouse.org (http://www.haitihouse.org), and the extension of its government contracting disaster shelter program to any group, company, charity or organization requiring immediate production of specialized housing and support facilities for Haiti relief and reconstruction.

After hurricane Katrina and in response to past FEMA bids, Harbor Homes has an exemplary record of building, testing and distributing exactly the types of units needed for major disaster recovery. In addition to its current ability to produce travel trailers suitable for rescue and recovery personnel, families, and conversion for office and portable medical clinic use, Harbor Homes has blueprints ready to produce other needed housing units that is has previously built for other disaster recovery efforts.

Harbor Homes has also suspended retail pricing and will supply ALL models in any quantity to domestic and international qualified charities, corporate sponsors, government agencies and missionary groups interested in the units for their personnel or to build villages to allow resettlement of Haitian refugees within Haiti or elsewhere. They are able to meet demand schedules of up to 500 units per week, activating factory space to accommodate special disaster requests. Multiple unit orders can be produced in as little as two weeks total with extra time for shipment to Haiti via ship transport.

Included in the construction program are single family housing travel trailers, smaller park model homes, larger mobile homes up to five bedrooms all with full baths and kitchens, and individual family units similar to campground models with essential bathrooms and kitchenettes. They will include all appliances necessary to operate from the moment they are installed.

For recovery efforts, and to supply commercial needs, Harbor Homes also has readily available containerized units in the standard eight foot width by thirty foot or forty foot lengths. These units include multi-berth bunkhouses/barracks with bathrooms, communal segregated male/female showers, full service commercial kitchens for communal food preparation, and multi-component laundry centers - all of which are prepped for installation of liquid propane tanks for feeding appliance needs. All of these emergency shelters and disaster support units can be built to quality specifications immediately.

"Extending wholesale pricing is just the right thing to do," commented CEO Lucas Stewart, "Harbor Homes has the capacity to supply diverse groups and charities, the government, whoever needs help. We have placed all company assets on standby to produce disaster relief orders. This is a total win situation. We would be able to employ more Americans doing what they do best, building emergency shelters and disaster housing units, and we would be supporting the good work of the international effort to rescue, rebuild and revitalize Haiti. When the chips are down I am glad to see the US leading the world again in extending a helping hand. Just as in past disasters, Harbor Homes is ready to help as well."

"Normally we only provide shelters, trailers and mobile homes to the government through our disaster division. Given the highly unusual situation we felt it best to allow anyone in the public the same discounted purchasing power. We are reviewing all pricing now to include the shipping costs for moving units from our factories in South Georgia, USA to the island nation, so there are no hidden costs."
